Training on the 'Petite Aiguille Verte'.

Today was a phenomenal training day, on the Petite Aiguille Verte, in Chamonix! After chasing the weather all morning (yet again!), we spotted a small break in the clouds and headed up the Grand Montet cable car, to access the base of the Petite Verte. Its a super climb beginning up a moderate snow slope, before reaching a beautiful and exposed ridge up high. As Chamonix suffered in cloud and rain for most of the day, we enjoyed climbing high above the clouds, with only the tops of the surrounding larger snow capped peaks, majestically jutting through.
